So here at Gameboydemakes, the thought of anyone seeing a demake and thinking “man, my life will never be complete if I don’t see part of this animated!”. Fret not friend!
Every Game Boy demake is accompanied by gifs (1 - 4, depends on if it adds something!) and in this case for Hearthstone its two.
Today (as you can see) is the title screen and at the same time tomorrow check back to see the board itself! (I know a lot of people have been questioning seeing their hand and tomorrow you’ll see how it all works!)
Some dingus I know made this dumb gif and ahhh I can’t even bring myself to jokingly be mean, what a good thing this is
On sale at yetee tomorrow! Click here tomorrow!

Surprising literally no one, women are a major demographic in gaming that, despite being ignored by the industry, comprise a larger portion of gamers than groups that are already catered to.
Source is the ESA
Psst, iphone and android games don’t make you a gamer, I guarantee if you took out all the people (both genders) who call themselves a gamer because they play those games this chart would look significantly different
What makes one a gamer, then? Does that mean that, if I only play Minecraft Pocket Edition, I won’t actually be considered a gamer until I get to play the game on an Xbox or a PC?
Does that mean the 2 whole hours I have been spending on playing Sudoku daily on my phone in the last two weeks don’t actually count as “gaming”? Given that smartphone Sudoku plays by the same rules as pen-and-paper Sudoku does, then there must be some metaphysical property that only games that are not on smartphones can possess, thus granting them the title of “actual games”.
That, or you’re just bullshitting everyone, trying to exclude people from considering themselves gamers.
Oh, fucking spare me. Casual games are still games, thanks and goodnight. What other lofty criteria does someone even have to meet to qualify as a gamer other than, you know, playing games on a regular basis?
The new Lara Croft looks ugly as shit, why did they do that?
They wanted to make her less of a sex symbol
booooooooooooooooo new laura croft sucks
Making someone less of a sex symbol is beyond what they did. She looks like a slender beat up Rosie O’Donnel
are you serious, she’s hot as fuck
She got dirty and roughed up from adventuring and tomb raiding? NOOOO she needs to stay clean and sexy gfdHDSFHFDGHDSUfdniugDFG <sarcasm>
I actually think the newest Lara is pretty…?
They made her realistic. Normal human proportions as opposed to having two balloons in her vest that would get hella painful when she’s trying to do something like, say, tombraiding. Trust me - this is a vast improvement.
Not to mention they also ran tests on how big they could make her boobs before men started looking at them first and not her eyes. I think it’s amazing.
BELIEVABLE FEMALE CHARACTERS AHHHH GOD WHY WHY EvURY1 no gurl no play game why need this want bewb now.
New Lara is best Lara, if you don’t like it you can suck my nutz.
tinnyhouse said: “its non paid, but its great experience!”
You know, this is probably the one version I’d be ok with - at least they’re upfront about not giving you any money! It drives me nuts when people try to tiptoe around the fact that it’s unpaid work. Like, just be honest with your artists and musicians, you know?
"We much prefer to pay our artists with revenue-share, wouldn’t you like to be raking in money when this game is a huge hit?"
"It’s a fantastic opportunity to build your portfolio!"
I love this image so much.
I’ve seen some women who are offended by this and say it’s ridiculous that her cleavage is showing and things of that sort.
Personally, I think it’s great.
Why should we have an image of a women with her hair tied up and flexing her muscles like she’s a man? (not that that isn’t great too!) In a way it suggests that when our hair is down, our breasts are visible and we wear (GASP) lipstick, we’re somehow lesser than men? We can do it! We can be feminine and successful.
You see what I’m saying here, ladies?
You don’t have to lose your femininity. Being feminine is great. Being masculine is great. Strength is not limited to one way of being.
[Commentary by swedens]
I’m gonna have to disagree with this commentary. Pretty strongly. Has swedens even seen the original Rosie the Riveter? For reference, here you go:
I am struggling to see in what way she is “like a man”, she’s just rolling her sleeves up and getting shit done. She didn’t come here to look good - that’s just a bonus. She’s here to help win a war. She didn’t tie her hair up to appear more masculine, she did it out of practicality. She doesn’t want that silky hair getting caught in the machinery and ripping her damned face off. Likewise with her shirt, which (gasp!) doesn’t reveal any cleavage: what good is an exposed chest in a factory?
This remade image is cool and all, but I feel like it totally misses the message. She’s been remodeled into a passive pinup. Why is she toying with her hair? Doesn’t she have a plane to build or something? She’s spent so much time primping and preening and unbuttoning her shirt that her rivals are now leagues ahead of her because they realised that getting dolled up wasn’t a priority. Give the original a bit of thought. She still has her makeup and her painted nails. Rosie the Riveter is plenty feminine. AND she can do it.
TL;DR - this new pic is nice enough aesthetically but it kind of misses the point of the old one
Been a while since I uploaded any pixels, huh? This has been haaaard work!
UGH I’M SO SHY AND AWKWARD
